Lipsy gets dressed for first retail outing

With just four weeks to go before the opening of their high street debut store in Brent Cross this October, booming young fashion brand Lipsy, recently acquired by Next, turned to Itim and The Retail Suite for their store solution.

Designed with rapid implementation in mind, The Retail Suite - POS has a fully integrated EFT module, fulfilled via a pre-accredited, PCI-DSS certified, managed service. By bypassing the lengthy accreditation process notoriously associated with new installations, the requirement, to securely accept card payments from the outset, was ticked.

The Retail Suite - Catalogue, which holds all product, price and promotion information, was then used to provide a data feed from Lipsy’s product design system through to store. Again by design, much simplified interfacing and pre-established integration with POS made rapid implementation possible. Finally, real-time reporting has enabled Lipsy to monitor sales of their gorgeous garments as they fly off the shelves.

With a further 6 stores planned for 2009, we are delighted to have contributed to the cost-effective smooth start of Lipsy’s latest retail venture.
