Beth is currently the CEO at Jigsaw where she has led the team through a 'digital first' modernisation programme to position it as a customer-first brand. In earlier years, Beth spent 16 years at Marks & Spencer in the Clothing Division. She joined Gap Inc in 2005 as Senior Management. In 2009 she joined MS Mode BV, part of KKR's Maxeda Group as Commercial Director. In 2011 Beth led the successful sale process to Sun Europe LLP private equity. During her 5 years there, she steered the company through a massive turnaround, including a successful stock market flotation on AIM Listing in 2013. Simon joined luxury department store Selfridges in 2012. During his time there Selfridges has been voted World’s Best Department store 4 times (IGDS). In 2018 he was appointed CEO with responsibility for 5000 team members, a turnover of £2billion and strategic and creative direction. In 2019 he was voted in the top 10 most influential retail leaders in the UK (Drapers Record). Prior to that he was Customer Director responsible for developing the Digital business, Supply Chain and Marketing for Selfridges. Since 2020 Simon decided to adopt a plural career and now currently holds a number of Advisor and Non-Executive roles working across the global retail industry.
Chris has been a passionate supporter, advocate and champion of UK retail across his entire career. Prior to joining the Retail Trust as CEO, Chris was the Managing Director and Senior VP of Retail Week and the World Retail Congress. Chris led these brands, as editor in chief or more recently as MD & SVP for ten years, transforming the business from a weekly print title, into a digital-first information and global events brand. Earlier, Chris was a pioneer in the age of digital information, launching his first online news service in 1999 for the FMCG sector. Chris is a passionate campaigner for the positive impact of retail on the UK economy as well as a leader in the fight for diversity in business.
