There is much evidence to show that when a retailer closes a store, e-commerce sales in that area also falls. It's not either-or, it's both.

We believe store configurations will change. There may be fewer stores. And those that remain will evolve into a network called a hub and spoke model. In this concept, you have a larger store, linked to smaller satellites, with ranges and stock in larger stores that have more depth than their satellite counter parts.
