itim Social and Environmental Policy
Itim provides software and services to retailers across the UK and internationally. We recognise that our business activities have an impact on the world around us and are committed to minimising the impact of our activities on the environment and society. We have reviewed our operations and identified the associated environmental and social impacts.
Our aim is to continue to implement improvements in the following areas:
Waste reduction: We will maximise recycling and minimise waste by evaluating operations and ensuring they are as efficient as possible, including going paperless wherever it makes sense to do so.
Compliance with legislation: We will ensure compliance with all health and safety and environmental legislation, regulations and codes of practice so that our conduct is of the highest possible standard and encourage our customers and suppliers to do likewise.
Energy usage: We use energy for heating and lighting. We will monitor our energy consumption on a regular basis and implement energy efficiency measures where practical.
Pollution prevention: We encourage all staff to take public transport to work and to client meetings where practical.
Procurement: We will procure goods and services through suppliers whose products and services meet the Group’s requirements and whose quality and environmental practices correspond with our own.

This policy statement will be reviewed annually and will be adapted to any future changes within our company or changes in legislation that apply to our business.
